This Czech Republic village was originally a small mining and wood working village, however little is left now of this old-fastioned image. Each year the almost 1500 inhabitants are overrun with enthusiastic winter sports fans most of them heading for Svaty Petr and Medvedin. Both beginners and advanced skiers will meet up with some challenging terrain. For snowboarders the area has a number of fun parks on offer.
