Rating on Sun Peaks Resort
Lovely little gem away from the crowds

We were pleasantly surprised by the snow quality at Sun Peaks, which was much lighter and drier than at Whistler where we've been in the past. Nice selection of runs - we particularly enjoyed the moguls - although nothing to rival Whistler's steep couloirs. Plenty of accessible intermediate runs through the trees. The village is small but cheerful, modelled after a European ski resort town.
- Quality of the snow
- "Ski-through" village model means most pistes are easy to access from the village
- Few crowds mean better snow for everyone!
- We accidentally ended up at the bottom of a run with no lift and had to trek half an hour back to the village
