Morgins is a beautiful village and part of the cross-border ski area Portes du Soleil. This small ski resort provides a pleasant mix of classic chalets and modern hotels. The village is at an altitude of 1300 metres right on the French border. The ski area is easy to describe: more than 650 kilometres of ski slopes directly accessible from the village. Cross-country skiers have access to some 20 kilometres of trails around Morgins, including the popular higher ski run around Lac de Morgins.
