Canillo, the oldest of the Andorran villages, is located 7 km above Encamp and is emerging as the ideal ski resort for beginners. The village offers views of the beautiful mountain landscapes, large peaceful paths, and a friendly atmosphere. A modern gondola connects in minutes to the ski resort of Grandvalira, where you will find the largest ski area in Andorra. On top of the ideal ski environment, Canillo is also home to one of the most famous bars in the area, Camping Pla. The après-ski activities are a little quieter compared to other villages in Grandvalira.
