Five kilometers east of Schruns lies Silbertal in a dead-end on the side of the valley. From this lovely family village you take a gondola to the mini-ski area of Kristberg on the north side of the village where there are two lifts. The Kristberg is also the starting point for adventurous ski tours. In the valley not far from the village is a second trail and a chairlift which connects to the Hochjoch ski area of Schruns.
