Camurac is a tiny village in the beautiful Languedoc-Roussillon region in France, with only 115 inhabitants. The village lies at an altitude of 1134 meters above sea level near Ax-les-Thermes and Couiza. Camurac comes alive in the winter, thanks to the ski area.
The small mountain village of Camurac is located high in Camurac Du Pays de Sault, a nature reserve. It is a very sunny village, where you can enjoy outdoor sports in both summer and winter. There is not much going on here. The sleepy village of Camurac has a few restaurants, but you don't come here looking for lively apres-ski! The adjacent ski area is small and you almost have the slopes to yourself. Camurac is the perfect place for family ski holidays with young children or beginners on their first ski holidays.
