The ski resort of Ax 3 Domaines was founded in 1955 and is one of the largest ski resorts in the Pyrenees. The resort consists of three ski areas called Bonascre Baggins and Campels. Ax 3 domaines has many amenities including its many hotels and good restaurants up on the slopes, at the foot of the slopes and in the resort centre . The entire ski resort is ski-in and ski-out which is a favourite option for family ski holidays. There is even a restaurant on the slopes where you can order food without having to take your skis off! There are also some nice bars offering good apres-ski. There are 3 airports within a 2 hour drive making Ax 3 Domaines a great option for short ski breaks and ski weekends.
