The village of St-Jean d'Aulps is 20km south of Lake Geneva, located at 900 meters of altitude in the Haute Savoie region. This small but excellent ski area is close to other ski areas that make up the Portes du Soleil ski area where you have access to over 600km of ski slopes and can access 14 ski resorts (including Abondance and Les Gets in Switzerland). In addition, St-Jean d'Aulps is cheaper, smaller and quieter than other ski resorts nearby.
