Even though the winter season 2013/14 seems to be almost over, you still have a chance to do some fantastic skiing AND see Robbie Williams at the Top of the Mountain Concert which closes the season each year! Megastar Robbie Williams will be on stage in the Austrian ski resort of Ischgl on the 3rd of May! Robbie, followed by his faithful Big Band, will perform songs from their newest album, Swings Both Ways, on the giant open-air stage at 2300 meters above sea level. If you haven’t already been skiing this season, then what better excuse for some weekend skiing!

It won’t be just the snow that will be melting this spring in Ischgl! The audience of around 30,000, mainly female, fans will no doubt be falling at the star’s feet! This is a first for ex Take That star Robbie Williams and he will, no doubt, show his enthusiasm at being in such a special place as part of his “Swing Both Ways” tour this year …

The Top of the Mountain concert 2014

This famous end of season event was first held 20 years ago and has seen international stars such as Kylie Minogue, Elton John, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan, Deep Purple and Mariah Carey on its unique stage. Ischgl’s Director of Tourism, Andreas Steibl explained that this is a very special season for the ski resort as it is not only celebrating the 20th anniversary of this important music event but also the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Silvretta Cable Car in Ischgl's ski area. Having one of the world's hugest music stars performing here will be the perfect way to celebrate these important dates! The concert will take place on a massive stage of over 7000 feet specially constructed for Robbie Williams’s performance.
